Inside the Experience
As my client, you can expect a fast, fun, and stress-free experience from first hello to final gallery:
01. Say hey
Fill out my contact form and fill me in on your family and your needs. I’ll be in touch shortly via email with more information about the process and my availability. If we’re a great fit to work together, we’ll coordinate a session date and time.
02. Book and celebrate!
I’ll send a booking link to pay your $150 deposit and reserve your session date. Then, it’s time to crank the tunes and raise a toast—you just joined the CMP fam! In the weeks and months leading up to your session, I’ll help you plan outfits, locations, props, and any other details.
03. Have the best time ever
Your session is here! Get ready for a fun, laid-back experience that feels natural. You’ll play with your kiddos, go through your normal routine, or explore a new place together. I’ll be there to guide as needed and make sure we get allll the good shots you’ll want to frame asap. You’ll receive your edited gallery 4 weeks later.

Do you charge a travel fee?
There is a travel fee for sessions more than 30 miles outside Tama/Toledo, Iowa.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a deposit of $150 is due to secure your session date.
Help! I have no idea what to wear. Will you help?
Absolutely, I have a style guide that I email once you book. I will even find outfit options for you if you’d like—I’m very involved in the outfitting process!
I’m worried my kids will not behave.
Your kids will be fine. They are ALWAYS better with others than you. Plus, when they are playing games and having fun, they will be more than fine!
What time will our session start?
I start sessions an hour before sunset. Please keep this in mind when booking during a particular season. In the summer, the sun sets around 9:00 pm, so sessions won’t start until 8:00 pm. If you’re concerned about bedtimes, consider booking a spring or fall session when we can start at 5:30 pm.
